Business Profile Management
Your business profile is the public-facing identity of your clinic within Genkō. A complete profile builds trust with patients and ensures smooth operations.
Accessing Business Profile
- Navigate to Business Profile in the sidebar (under Management)
- Or click on the Profile Completion Banner on your dashboard

Why Your Business Profile Matters
A complete business profile:
- Builds Patient Trust: Patients see professional information about your clinic
- Enables Features: Some features require organization details
- Improves Communications: Your clinic info appears in patient notifications
- Supports Public Listings: Your clinic can appear in public directories

1. Organization Information

2. Branding & Logo
Logo Upload
- Supported Formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP
- Recommended Size: 200x200 pixels minimum
- Max File Size: 2MB
- Shape: Square logos work best
To Upload a Logo:
- Click the logo upload area or drag and drop your image
- Preview the logo before saving
- Click Save to apply changes
Brand Colors (Coming Soon)
- Primary color selection
- Secondary color selection
- Accent color selection
3. Business Hours
Set your standard operating hours:

Note: These are your clinic’s general business hours. Individual provider availability can be set separately in the Scheduling section.
4. Practice Specialties
Select the specialties your practice offers:
- General Practice
- Family Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Internal Medicine
- Dermatology
- Cardiology
- And more…
Adding Specialties:
- Click Add Specialty
- Select from the dropdown list
- Repeat for additional specialties
- Click Save
5. Insurance & Payment
Configure accepted payment methods and insurance:
Accepted Insurance Providers
- Add insurance companies you accept
- Managed in Settings → Insurance tab

- Cash
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Insurance
- Payment Plans (if enabled)
Profile Completion Indicator
The profile completion indicator shows your progress:

| 0-25% | 🔴 Incomplete | Complete required fields |
| 26-50% | 🟡 Basic | Add more details |
| 51-75% | 🟡 Good | Nearly complete |
| 76-99% | 🟢 Almost There | Add final touches |
| 100% | 🟢 Complete | Profile fully set up |
Required for 100%:
- Organization name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address
- Logo
Saving Changes
Changes are saved in two ways:
Auto-Save
- Some fields save automatically as you type
- Look for the “Saving…” indicator
Manual Save
- Click the Save button in the top-right corner
- Wait for “Saved successfully” confirmation
Unsaved Changes Alert:
- If you try to leave with unsaved changes, you’ll see a warning
- Choose to save or discard your changes
Best Practices
Logo Guidelines
- Use a high-resolution image for best quality
- Ensure the logo is legible at small sizes
- Use a simple, clean design
- Maintain consistent branding across all materials
Description Tips
- Keep it concise (2-3 sentences)
- Mention your key specialties
- Include your unique value proposition
- Use professional language
Contact Information
- Use a dedicated business email (not personal)
- Ensure phone number is answered during business hours
- Keep website URL current
- Verify address is accurate for patient navigation
Privacy Considerations
Your business profile information may be visible to:
- Your staff members
- Your patients
- Public directories (if enabled)
Sensitive Information:
- Financial details are never publicly displayed
- Staff personal information is protected
- Patient counts are private
Troubleshooting
Logo Won’t Upload
- Check file format (PNG, JPG, WEBP only)
- Reduce file size if over 2MB
- Try a different browser
- Clear browser cache
Changes Not Saving
- Check internet connection
- Look for error messages
- Refresh the page and try again
- Contact support if the issue persists
Address Validation Errors
- Ensure address format matches your country
- Check for typos
- Try entering address components separately
